Always remember the obligations of virtue, the duties of rectitude, and honor

Be truthful above all things

Be energetic, courteous and punctual in business

Have a mentor, a person of high and correct principles – moral character

Be select in the choice of your companions,

Be careful that you know those to seek and make your friends

Don’t bother with what thoughtless people think

Read your Bible every day, pray often

Listen to the dictates of your own heart

Never attempt to silence your conscience when it reproves you

By regarding these principles your moral character will gain strength continually

So that you may have a life of honor and happiness

With good friends, good books and good reflections you will find leisure pleasant
